Focus Areas

Food Security and Livelihoods

Population in rural areas relies heavily on agriculture for their livelihoods, while urban populations depend on agricultural produce from these regions. This increases pressure on an already struggling agricultural sector. In collaboration with NGOs, Christian Leaders Unite integrates farmers' training into food security and livelihoods programs, promoting agriculture and animal health as viable professions to combat hunger and poverty. The foundation actively supports agricultural projects in Kenya and aims to expand into animal husbandry, poultry production, and drip irrigation, as agriculture remains the main source of livelihood for many in rural and peri-urban areas.

Education

For any society to make tangible progress, education must be central to that change. Christian Leaders Unite, alongside various partners, aims to support education by sponsoring needy children in rural and peri-urban areas of Kenya. Additionally, we provide school supplies and learning materials. Women-led households often face high illiteracy rates due to limited resources for education. When the breadwinner passes away, the children’s education often suffers. Our organization intends to sponsor orphans and children from these households to continue their education.

Climate Action

The foundation intends to promote and encourage social economic empowerment and protection of environmental activities especially in the affected rural communities. Climate change possess a huge existential risk to our lives and livelihoods. The foundation intends to hold advocacy campaigns on climate action. Implement tree nurseries and sensitize communities on the importance of tree planting and environmental conservation in our respective communities.
